Privacy Policy

Plain-English details about the information this website collects, what we do with it, who we share it with, and how to get it removed.

Last updated: 5 November 2026. This policy covers marodyne.com.au and the enquiry, newsletter and chat features on it.

Who we are

Marodyne LiV Australia (trading as Marodyne LiV Australia, distributed by RehaCare) is the Australian distributor of the Marodyne LiV Low-Intensity Vibration device (ARTG 317506). We are responsible for the personal information described in this policy.

You can reach our privacy contact at sales@rehacare.com.au, by post at 7C/256 New Line Road, Dural NSW 2158, or by phone on 1300 653 522 (Monday–Friday, 9:00am–5:00pm).

What information we collect

We only collect what we need to answer your enquiry or send you updates:

  • Enquiry details — when you submit the enquiry or contact form: first and last name, email address, phone number, country, city, subject, how you heard about us, and your message.
  • Newsletter details — your email address, if you choose to subscribe in the footer.
  • Chat messages — anything you choose to type into the on-screen chat widget.
  • Usage data — standard technical information such as pages visited, referring site, approximate region and browser type, collected through cookies and analytics (see Cookies & analytics).

We do not ask for, or store, payment card details on this website, and we do not collect health records or medical information about you through the forms. Please don't include sensitive medical details in a message — a general description of what you're looking for is enough.

How we use your information

  • To respond to your enquiry, arrange a demonstration, or quote for a device.
  • To send product updates and bone health content you asked for by subscribing.
  • To keep a record of enquiries so our consultants can follow up reliably.
  • To understand which pages and content are useful, so we can improve the site.
  • To keep our website secure and to troubleshoot problems.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for other companies' marketing. We share it only with the service providers who help us run this website and answer enquiries:

  • Our customer-relationship and marketing platform, which stores enquiry and newsletter records so consultants can follow up.
  • Our email provider, which delivers confirmation and notification emails to our team.
  • Google Analytics, which reports aggregate site usage to us.
  • The chat widget provider, which processes the messages you send through the on-screen chat.
  • Our website hosting and database providers, which store the records securely.

Some of these providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. When they do, we rely on reasonable safeguards and standard contractual terms to protect the information, and we remain accountable for it.

Cookies & analytics

This site uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:

  • Essential — required for the site and forms to work.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics (gtag.js) cookies that tell us which pages are read and where visitors came from.
  • Chat — cookies set by the chat widget so a conversation can continue as you browse.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Google offers a browser add-on to opt out of Analytics (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). Turning cookies off may stop some features, such as the chat widget, from working.

How long we keep it

Enquiry records are kept while we are working with you and afterwards for a reasonable business period so we can honour warranties, answer follow-up questions and keep accurate records. Newsletter signups are kept until you unsubscribe. Usage and analytics data is retained for the period configured in our analytics settings. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

You can ask us at any time to:

  • Give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
  • Correct anything that is wrong or out of date.
  • Delete your information, where we aren't required to keep it.
  • Stop contacting you — every newsletter includes an unsubscribe link.

Email sales@rehacare.com.au with the subject "Privacy request". We'll confirm receipt and respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity first so we don't disclose information to the wrong person.

Children's information

This website is written for adults making decisions about their own bone health, or for a parent or carer enquiring on their behalf. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

How we protect it

Information is stored behind access controls, with encrypted connections (HTTPS) between your browser and our servers, and is only visible to the staff who need it to help you. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond promptly if anything goes wrong.

If something goes wrong

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your information, email sales@rehacare.com.au. We'll investigate and reply in writing, normally within 30 days.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC), GPO Box 528, Sydney NSW 2001, or through their website at oaic.gov.au.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our services or the law change. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last revised, and using the website after that date means you accept the updated version.
